Extra Thick Jigsaw Puzzle made with Stressed Wood
This cute little teddy bear is a three piece jigsaw puzzle made of really thick 1 1/4 inch wood. The cherry wood is slightly stressed (having been coarsely sanded and one side has a grain tear-out near the bottom paw) but is smooth to the touch. The features are painted black with a white twinkle in each eye. The paints are certified safe by the Art and Creative Materials Institute.

The is a great puzzle for an adult desk, in a curio cabinet or in the play rack of a youngster. Its bulk and flowing lines make it irresistible to touch and caress, yet it is sturdy enough to take a real pounding.

The puzzle stands on its own and does not need to lay on a flat surface. Its interlocking pieces allow the bear to be picked up by any piece without having the entire puzzle come apart. this puzzle was individually hand made in America, by skilled puzzlers. Its pieces move easily, from either side.
